The much-loved stylist and TV personality Brad Goreski has just released his new book - Born to be Brad. Not your typical celebrity autobiography, Brad takes the reader on his journey from small-town boy to big-time Hollywood fashionista with humor, grace and charm to spare. We heart Brad big time.

We love adding a splash of color to our wardrobe, especially with Spring right around the corner. Today we decided to DIY our very own drabby oxfords into ultra chic, neon-toe flats we can rock everyday.
Supplies:
- Oxford shoes
- Can of waterproof spray paint
- Painters tape
Directions:
- Cover all areas of shoes with painters tape and pack shoes with paper to stop overspray.
- Shake can well, holding vertically spray 20-30 cm away from shoes in a slow sweeping action.
- Apply an even coat and leave to dry for 1 to 2 hrs.
- Apply a second coat. If needed a third coat may be required.
(Note: For our shoes, we applied a coat of white paint first, to make sure the color was vibrant and didn’t blend into the shoe.)

This Thursday we have found the perfect cocktail spot! Hotel Chantelle is a charming new hotel bar that comes without the burden of an actual hotel. The recently opened LES hot spot is based on a bar in Paris. Inside you can be sure to find a vintage wonderland of leather decor and globe lights. The multilayer Hotel Chantelle offers a basement dance club, low-key bar and feel-good lounge. The roof is by far the best though, with its weather retractable ceiling that will make this spot even more popular come summer.

Lactose-intolerant beware. Nestled in the East Village is the desert-at-any-hour bar and bakery, Momofuku Milk Bar. Dulce de leche cake, blueberry cream cookies and soft-serve brilliance makes up this exceptional desert spot. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it!

This Monday look no further than the West Village for the perfect dinner spot. Our newest find has a club-like exclusivity feeling that keeps us wanting more, but most of all, it is a real restaurant with amazing food! The hidden gem is no other than The Lion. At the entrance, guests are shown to a cozy mezzanine dimly lit with a few tables and small bar, but past the small entry way a snug channel between enclosed and open kitchens leads you into the large dining room with skylight dome. The vibe is classy, fun and sometimes star-studded. Make reservations today, Minkettes!
