There is an innate connection between fashion and music, as seen by the artists who wear it and the designers who dress them. But it’s more than that, especially in today’s fashion-obsessed world where a brand’s campaign video and music video can become one in the same.

A forward-thinking designer worn by both Hollywood starlets and musicians across the globe, the Rebecca Minkoff brand is no stranger to the two famed industries colliding. She has even started a runway show “tradition” of having live music at every show that fashion week attendees have now learned to anticipate and speculate what surprise performance will open on the catwalk. Starting with Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl in 2011 and kicking of her Fall 2012 show this past spring with Theophilus London, the chatter has already started building across the industry about who will we see at her SS13 show just two weeks away.
