Nothing brings in the fall like a zesty cocktail to warm your soul and keep spirits up. So, when we asked the ladies of The Glitter Guide to whip something up for our readers, we were quite enthused when they presented us with a delicious indulgence involving champagne, fruit and herbs. We bring you a Sparkling Rosemary & Pear Cocktail. Not your average concoction, this drink is actually very easy to make (and to enjoy!).
1/2 ounce Rosemary simple syrup (3 tsp)
1 ounce pear nectar
Dry champagne or sparkling white wine
To make the Rosemary simple syrup combine equal parts sugar and water with a few sprigs of Rosemary over low heat until sugar is dissolved (this week keep for 2l weeks in the fridge). Let cool for 20 minutes. Add Rosemary simple syrup to each glass, followed by a splash of pear nectar and top with champagne.
