Lets get nifty with a DIY art activity. If you have ever strolled the streets of Soho on a Saturday afternoon, you have seen the endless amounts of unique canvas art on display. Well now it is our turn to create our very own one-of-a-kind art pieces. Elsie Larson of A Beautiful Mess shares her secrets for transferring photos to canvas.

A museum for shopping bags and nothing else? Howard and Lee Forman, a husband and wife whose passions for shopping bags lead them to create The Museum of Bags bring us a one-of-kind experience. The museum features 7,000 bags and is intended to “to showcase the bag in all its forms as an icon illustrating the history and culture of society.” Some of the bags even date as far back as 1898. Check out Nylon Magazine for more details.

We were awestruck from the moment we stumbled upon Pakayla Biehn‘s photorealist paintings. The artist draws her inspiration from double-exposure photographs, and then uses them to paint incredibly realistic and beautiful pieces. We would love to have one of these hanging on our wall someday – a girl can dream! See more of Pakayla’s gorgeous artwork at YouShouldTakeCare.com.

We have always been big fans of the blog Miss Moss, which is run by Diana, but now she has blown us away with her incredible artwork. Diana re-imagines fashion shows and collections by combining them with paintings and we are loving the results. Check out her interpretations of Thakoon and Kenzo below.

Recently we have been loving the work of Jenny Odell, who creates prints out of images that she finds on Google Satellite View. We love how she is able to turn normal objects into a beautiful work of art. Check out some of our favorites below, and find more at JennyOdell.com.
