This weekend we are excited to watch Damsels In Distress. It is the perfect mix of quirky, offbeat, sharp and witty humour. The movie is set at an East Coast college with a dominate male student population. Luckily, a dynamic trio of girls – Violet (Greta Gerwig), Rose (Megalyn Echikunwoke) and Heather (Carrie MacLemore) – decide to change the atmosphere by setting out to rescue their fellow female students from depression, grunge and low standards of every kind. However, romantic entanglements with a series of men – including Charlie (Adam Brody) and Xavier (Hugo Becker) – threaten their friendship and sanity. We cannot wait to see if there is a happy ending and if their friendship survives.

Snow White is all the rage right now. From the hit show Once Upon A Time to the upcoming movie Mirror Mirror, Snow White’s story is being retold in every suspenseful, funny and mysterious way imaginable. Tomorrow we are so excited to watch one of the most beloved stories of all time come to life on the big screen in Mirror Mirror. The hilarious retelling of the Snow White legend, features breakout star Lily Collins as Snow White, a princess in exile, and Julia Roberts as the evil Queen, who ruthlessly rules her captured kingdom. We cannot wait to see the 7 rebel dwarfs help Snow White fight to reclaim her birthright and win her Prince’s heart.
Mad Men season 5 premieres this Sunday on AMC with a 2 special hour episode, and we cannot be more excited! Not only do we love the classic outfit inspiration from the 1960s, but we cannot get enough of the provocative drama of the competitive men and women of Madison Avenue advertising. If you haven’t tuned in before, the series revolves around an ego-driven, ladies man Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and his colleagues at the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce Advertising Agency. The series perfectly depicts the roles of men and women in the 1960s while focusing on their true human nature.

Starting at midnight tonight, we are anticipating lines outside of every movie theater around for the official premiere of The Hunger Games. If you haven’t read the book, the movie is set in a future where the Capitol annually selects a boy and girl from the twelve districts to fight to the death on live television. Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister’s place and begins her fights for survival. The novel turned movie phenomena is all the buzz, and we cannot wait to watch Jennifer Lawrence bring Katniss to life on the big screen.
