DIY Color Block Oxfords

ABC, 1-2-3. Fall is near and it’s almost time to head back to school! That means new books, boys and buys.
We’re showcasing our school spirit with Minkette DIY Color Block Oxfords! This project gets fresh with an old school
style. Use a worn in pair at home or score some of the golden wonders we’re using from Forever 21.
Alright Minkettes, class is in session…

Material Must Haves:

- A pair of oxfords
- A variety of brushes
- Fabric paint in the color of your choice
-Masking tape (optional)

Step 1: Take out the laces and pull out the tongue.

Step 2: Paint the part of the shoe that you want to color block. Use masking tape to protect the heel
or other parts of the shoe that you do not want to get paint on.

Step 3: Let the first layer of paint dry. Then do a second and third coat.
Re-lace the shoes, take off the tape and you’re done!

Now, what will you pair these with for you back to school outfit?

Happy DIYing Minkettes!
