Let’s face it, as much as we love our fashionably oversized handbags, we overload them and their weight is sometimes not worth following the “beauty is pain” mantra. But thanks to a very clever solution, courtesy of The Beauty Department, we can lighten up our load. All you need are contact lens cases, foundation, concealer, anything else you might carry in your makeup bag – oh, and a spatula. (Weird, yes. But trust us, this will come in handy!) Just scrape across the surface of each makeup product or pour it into the contact lens case and you’re good to go. This will not only take up less room in your everyday bag or for travel, but it’s great if you want to carry your makeup in a small clutch for a night out.
