It’s been three years since Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith – the musical trifecta known as The XX – have released an album. As much as we could listen to “Crystalized” on repeat ’till we’re singing the words in our sleep, we were more than ecstatic to update our XX fix this September when the trio released Coexist, the follow-up to their namesake album xx. True to their synthy, soothing and innately sexy sound, Coexist lives up to everything their original debut paved the way for, landing them their first chart-topping status on the UK Album Chart.
