Music Monday: The Dø

French and Finnish duo The Dø have a sound unlike any other artists we’re listening to right now. An unlikely mix of indie-rock, pop, folk and grunge, pianist/vocalist Olivia Merilahti and Dan Levy, a classically trained saxophonist, push the limits both instrumentally and vocally to uncharted territory where dark and light sounds can coexist. We’re particularly fond of their upbeat track “Bohemian Dances,” but “Slippery Slope” has us captivated from the first drum beat. Have a listen below!
