With the seasons changing, dark, heavy and woodsy scents are making their annual debut. Typically a trademark of men’s fragrances, the “woods” smell is an olfactory obsession that’s adorning the collarbones, wrists and homes of women, too. It’s not that we want to smell like “boy,” but we’ll admit it: There’s just something flat out seductive about a smokey scent that makes you feel instantly more intriguing and sexy. For those of you who aren’t ready to make the leap from citrus to cedar as a perfume, we recommend “manning up” with a candle. (We know, not what typically think of as being “masculine.”) From wintery cedars to buttery vanillas and musks, we’ve found the best “unisex” fall candles to warm up your home without losing touch with your feminine side. The best part: Many of them come as a cologne or perfume as well, so if you do find yourself addicted to any of these scents, you can wear them too.
