Sunday Agenda: Schiaparelli and Prada

There are many things that Sundays are perfect for such as sleeping in (without having to hit snooze!), brunch, strolls through the park, movies, book reading, shopping, occasional attempts at giving oneself a facial and/or manicure, perusing the Sunday Styles and last but not least, museums.

This Sunday, a visit to The Met is on the agenda, and there is one exhibit in particular that we can’t wait to scope out: Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. Channeling Miguel Covarrubias’s “Impossible Interviews” for Vanity Fair in the 1930s, The Costume Institute’s exhibition pays homage to Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, showcasing their similarities through classic ensembles and simulated video conversations between the two Italian designers.

With a dose of culture and a way to take a break from the heat, a day at the museum sounds nothing short of amazing. Top it off with a stop by the nearest ice cream truck and we’d call it perfection.

Happy Weekend, Minkettes!
