Sometimes we wish we could go back in time to the glamour of the 1940s. We were so excited to find a step by step vintage hair tutorial by the The Beauty Department and Lauren Conrad. Check out the five easy steps below to transform your hair to the days of vintage beauty.
#1. Find your side part. Either side will do.
#2. Curl all of your hair inward toward your face and clip the curls in place with large setting clips.
#3. Mist all over with a light-medium holding hairspray. Give it at least 15 minutes to cool and set – pour yourself a coffee and get started on your makeup or those morning emails.
#4. Gently pull the clips out and let your hair fall.
#5. Using a flat or paddle brush, brush hair back and away from your face and then let it spring back. Keep brushing gently until the waves appear.
