Got a case of the Monday blues? The incredible fried pizzas at La Montanara are the ultimate comfort food to grab after work. This new Lower East Side joint is already getting plenty of buzz about its incredible pizza pies, which are fried and then baked to perfection. You can also grab appetizers and dessert if you are not yet willing to experience this greasy goodness. Check it out on 168 Ludlow.

A bakery that doubles as a bar - Landbrot is just too good to be true. This German bakery just opened on Sunday, and we hear it has an incredible selection of bread, pretzels, and sausages. On top of that, Landbrot is stocked with rare German beer and great wines. We are definitely checking it out this weekend!

Gran Electrica, a new Mexican restaurant in Dumbo, just opened yesterday and we are already hearing incredible things about it. Stop by for some delicious pork tacos (made from scratch, of course) or grab a margarita after work. We cannot wait to stop by when it gets warmer and relax on the back patio. This is definitely gonna be our go-to summer joint.

We love this idea from Faith of The Kitchn - make your own fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt cups instead of buying them. You will need a few half-pint jars, and you can simply layer 1/2 cup of plain yogurt with your favorite toppings. Faith suggests using blueberry jam, blueberries, honey and walnuts. You could also switch it up with kiwi and oats or peaches and honey. We cannot wait to try this for our breakfast on the go!
