Thursdays are the perfect night to let loose and have some fun. This week, we’re excited to try the cocktails at Ken & Cook – formerly Travertine. With subway tiles and shelves of wine bottles, it is the perfect downtown spot to unwind after work. We love chef Richard Diamonte’s delicious plates dressed in a painterly fashion with oysters Rockefeller baked with bread crumbs, linguine with fresh and fried clams and monkfish with romesco sauce and fennel.
P.S. – Word on the street is they’re opening a lounge in the basement under the name “Li’l Charlie’s.” Us Minkettes love after-work drinks that somehow turn into late-night dance parties more than anyone, so you know we’ll be counting down the days till this gem opens its doors!
