Considering our obsession with Instagram (and Pinterest, and Twitter, and anything social media related and techy, for that matter), it’s safe to say that we Minkettes are very attached to our iPhones. As close as we are to our mobile devices, it’s natural we want them to look as stylish as the rest of our accessories, so we decided to DIY our own iPhone case, keeping in mind the season’s uber-bright trends. With a touch of glue, some neon studs from M&J Trimming, and plenty of patience, we created this awesome geometric case that we’re kind of (very) obsessed with. Follow along below to add some studs-meets-skittles pizzazz to your case – happy DIY-ing!
Supplies:
- Three packs of different colored neon studs
- a blank iPhone case
- E3000 glue
1. Begin to arrange your studs on the case to figure out the design you want. You could do polka dots, or stripes, but we opted for a simple geometric pattern.
2. Using the E3000 glue, begin to individually glue down each stud. If you use the same pattern as us, start in the middle and work your way out. You may want to use a toothpick to apply glue to each stud.
3. Continue to apply the studs until you’ve covered the entire phone case. Let dry for half an hour then you’re ready to show off your new neon case!
