Since the summer heat isn’t going anywhere, we’re making the best of the situation and finding the chicest rooftops for an escape, and everyone knows there is nothing better than a cocktail and NYC’s beautiful views on the weekend. Check out our top rooftops to visit – part deux!
#1. Haven Rooftop NYC - Located at the Sanctuary Hotel, Haven Rooftop has relaxing private cabanas and amazing tapas like the melt-in-your-mouth tuna tartare. Who wouldn’t want to kick back at a place called Sanctuary and Haven? If only massages were on the menu…
Haven Rooftop, 132 West 47th St, New York City
#2. Salon de Ning - An Asian art-deco inspired rooftop at the Peninsula Hotel with views of Midtown and screenings of French films like The Artist. Wine? French films? Summer? This has “date night” written all over it!
Salon de Ning, 700 Fifth Avenue, New York City
#3. Tavern 29 - For a more casual rooftop, look no further than Tavern 29 at the NoMad Hotel. The brownstone turned bar has three levels of cocktails, some of which are actually named after 19th century New York gangs. The Dead Rabbits cocktail, named after the 1850s New York posse, looks particularly potent with absinthe and ginger beer – we’d be lying if we didn’t say we were intrigued…
Tavern 29, 47 East 29th St, New York City
